I’m so excited to be finally sharing what was one my favorite engagement shoots I’ve ever photographed!

Celeste and Blake had the best idea ever for their engagement session! Both of them of work in the parks and rec industry and they met outdoors. So to tie in their love for the outdoors they had the genius idea to do a camping themed engagement session in Raleigh’s Umstead State Park! 

They both wore their cozy matching flannels, rocked some hiking boots, pitched a tent, and built a camp fire. To make their engagement session even cuter they brought their camping buddy Yukon, who was seriously the most adorable dog ever! These two have amazing chemistry that can’t but help reveal itself in the photos! I absolutely love how their engagement session turned out!

Wedding Proposal | Jen & April | Chapel Hill, North Carolina

This past weekend I got to photograph such an amazing wedding proposal. Jen set up a crazy scavenger hunt for her girlfriend April. The scavenger hunt sent April across Durham & Chapel Hill to some of April's favorite places. Along the way Jen had best friends and family show up at those favorite places to surprise April! The final clue of the scavenger hunt sent her back home. April was greeted with a beautifully arranged backyard lit up with candles & Jen was there waiting for her. Jen kneeled down to one knee and asked April to marry her! I think the photos tell you how April responded to the question! Their expressions were filled with so much excitement!! The joy from the two of them was absolutely radiating!! Here’s a sneak preview of this awesome proposal. More soon to come! Congrats to such a sweet couple!!
