Raleigh Engagement Photos at Fred Fletcher Park | Haley & Ernesto

These two were the absolute sweetest! Back in April I got to hang out and spend a perfect spring day at Fred Fletcher Park in Raleigh, taking engagement photos for these two adorable college sweethearts! One of my favorite things about being an engagement / wedding photographer, is getting to hear how each couple got to know each other. Haley & Ernesto’s engagement story didn’t disappoint one bit! 

Their story started when Haley was required to attend a public speaking event for upperclassmen who had recently completed their internships. Ernesto just happened to be that first speaker at that event. And from Haley’s own words - “I kid you not, I actually started blushing when he stood up in front of the room. He was the most beautiful human being that I had ever seen. I wanted to get to know him so badly that when I ran into him with one of our mutual friends, I randomly decided to say I was throwing a game night in my dorm that weekend and invited him. I didn't even have any games! That weekend he showed up for my impromptu "party," and I realized he was as kind as he was beautiful. It didn't take long for me to know he was the one."

I am so excited for October this year! I'll be photographing their wedding in Charlotte! It’s going to be a day filled of so much love & laughter! 

By the way! If you are planning a spring engagement session in North Carolina, I highly recommend taking your pictures at Fred Fletcher Park in Raleigh, NC. That time of year the weather is perfect and the park was gorgeously vibrant with so many beautiful spring flowers!

2015 was an extremely great year for me and my business! I photographed so many weddings (went from 4 weddings in 2014, to 20 in 2015), met many new faces, and explored/photographed beautiful places all over North Carolina - all of them amazing and simply wonderful!
