Christine & Daniel | Spruce Pine Lodge Wedding | Bahama, North Carolina

Christine & Daniel had an amazing fun-filled wedding day at the beautiful Spruce Pine Lodge located in Bahama, North Carolina. The day couldn’t have been more perfect, everything went so smoothly, the weather was perfection for their outdoor wedding, and all the smiling guests were awesome!

Being able to document Christine and Daniel’s wedding day was very special to be apart of. The love they had for each other definitely showed between the two of them, and made for some amazing photos! They wanted to see each other before their ceremony, so they decided to do a first look. You could tell Daniel was extremely excited to see his bride Christine for the first time in her wedding dress. I had Daniel facing away into the forest and I had Christine hiding inside the hotel. I cued Christine to come up behind Daniel and tap him on the shoulder to surprise him. Daniel heard Christine’s footsteps coming up from behind him and he couldn’t of been more excited, he was so excited that let he let out some very manly tears of excitement. Daniel turned around and both were glowing with happiness being able see each other.

The night finished off so perfectly with wedding guests dancing their hearts out, and singing at the top of their lungs in harmony to some awesome music! Was such a fun wedding to be at for sure!

JJ | Raleigh Warehouse District | Raleigh Headshots

Had a great session the other day with one of my good friends JJ. He is working on a new business adventure and needed head shots for his upcoming project. So we headed down to the Raleigh Warehouse District for his photo shoot. The Warehouse District has quickly become one of my favorite places to shoot portraits at! The old industrial buildings of Raleigh's Warehouse District offer such unique backdrops for photos. If you are looking for an urban or downtown feel for your portraits this is the place to go!

On top of it being an awesome place for photographs it's a fantastic location to go grab some food & drinks after your photo session. The Pit BBQ is right there which boasts some of the best BBQ in North Carolina, there is Box Car which is an awesome barcade so you can grab some cheap drinks and play some of your favorite retro games, and right around the corner is the Boylan Street Brew Pub which offers a bunch of local brews and has an awesome outdoor patio with hands down the best view of downtown Raleigh!
